The DAHL history started some six years ago as founder Robin Dahl asked Sören Alm if he wanted to join him in a company developing mobile phones. It was an interesting idea but Apple had just released the first iPhone and they thought that the mobile phone market may be under a dramatic even disruptive change. So Robin Dahl went to China for a three week exploration of what they could offer – he is still there.
The products are a cooperation between Robin in Shenzhen, China, the Chinese partners and Sören at the headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
Founders
Robin Dahl, born 1963, is the product developer. He is based in China where he has an extended network of partners in both local firms, international corporations and government institutions.
Sören Alm, born 1956, is primary responsible for the product design and the administration of the company, its patents, finances and immaterial properties.
